By registering now, you lock in your commitment to break your own barrier between June 18 – 25. As you prepare for the event, tell your friends, family, neighbours, and colleagues all about your upcoming challenge. They’ll help you build the confidence to complete your challenge and help you fundraise to give back. (They might even join your team.) It’s a win-win!

By fundraising $250 and more, you can ‘unlock’ fundraising levels that will automatically enter you to into a draw for prizes ranging from an ice cream gift card to a Yeti tote bag. Details found here.
There are guaranteed prizes if you fundraise:
a) $5,000 - you will receive one $250 VISA gift card.
b) $10,000 – you will receive one $500 Ticketmaster gift card to see a concert or sporting event of your choice
Plus top fundraising team and top fundraising awards will be given out during event week!
Sunshine staff, board members, volunteers, dream recipients, and their family and friends are eligible to win the Breaking Barriers 2023 draw and/or any fundraising prizes if they meet the fundraising criteria.
What is The Sunshine Foundation of Canada?
This event is similar to what Sunshine Dream Programs are all about! As a national charity, The Sunshine Foundation of Canada creates customized dream experiences for kids and youth age 11 – 21 to help them break barriers. These experiences change lives by increasing confidence, resilience, a willingness to try new things, and a positive outlook that continues to fuel young peoples’ futures.
